Brand New Three-Family Home

Our team has been working on building this three-family home in Waltham since last summer. The house that was previously there sadly burnt down and we had to build a new home from scratch. It’s been a really exciting project and we’re happy to say that all three units have officially been sold! They went quick and you’ll see why.

Before:

As you can see, we had a blank canvas to start from (with some limitations, of course) but it was exciting to build a brand new home.

During Construction:

After: Our realtor friends at Exp Realty took these photos of the finished product. Thanks for all your hard work!

What do you think? Do you love the finished product as much as we do?  Congrats to the three families who bought these beautiful condos. We wish you the best of luck in your new home!

Total Basement Remodel

This basement remodel is quite remarkable! Not only was our team at McDonald Contracting able to increase the living space for these homeowners, but they also added a beautiful new bathroom. By remodeling the basement and adding a new bathroom the homeowners can live more comfortably while increasing the value of their home. It’s a win-win!

Thinking about giving your basement a makeover? In the United States, on average, finishing a basement will give you a return of 70 to 75% of your investment. For example, if you spend $1000 you would increase the value of your home by $700. So not only do you get a cool new TV Room/Teen Room/Man Cave/Crafting Corner (you get the idea) but you also improve the overall value of the home. Something to think about for sure.

Renovated Condo Kitchen

Can you believe this gorgeous kitchen is located in a condo? Well, it is! Not only is it the perfect size, but its modern, functional and has unexpected details that make a big impact.

One detail we’re loving in this kitchen remodel is the natural soffit. The soffit adds just the right amount of dimension to this space. Soffits are a great way to add an architectural feature to your home without breaking the bank. See below to check it out.

The homeowner came to us because of water damage. Our team worked fast to create a kitchen design that fits perfectly with-in the condo’s floor plan. The new design provides a seamless flow as well as plenty of storage and usable counter space.

Let us know what you think about this newly renovated kitchen. Our team at McDonald Contracting had a blast working on this project.
